6th October - Derby

Rail Vehicles and Enhancements 2016 is the only single theme expo aimed at the engineering of rail vehicles for refurbishment and enhancements. The show is now entering its fifth successive and successful year.

The Rail Vehicles and Enhancements expo and conference 2016 will be even larger than last year’s event and will be held at the Riverside in Derby on Thursday 6th October 2016 between 9am and 4.30pm.

Visitors to RVE 2015 benefitted from a full day of events organised by Onyxrail. RVE 2016 promises to be bigger, better and broader with both an expanded exhibition and conference where visitors can hear from leading figures in the rail industry. We are particularly pleased to announce that the conference will be chaired by Ian Walmsley, columnist for Modern Railways. Whilst most conferences and events charge for attendance, entry to and parking at the event is entirely free, regardless of the quality of exhibitors and speakers.

RVE 2016 will be filled with exhibitors at the cutting edge of technology from around the world, showcasing real time passenger counting, passenger information systems, cab and saloon cooling, traction and passenger information equipment. Other innovations on show will include LED lighting, entertainment and advertising systems, interior and product designers, energy saving solutions and driver advisory equipment.

Given the superb footfall drawn by the event last year we are expecting RVE 2016 to be a vibrant and exciting event.
